Eidos Montreal has stopped work on a third unannounced project based on a new IP, according to sources. The Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Thief dev may have been working with Square Enix Japan.
This report follows shortly after Square mentioned that Eidos could perhaps one day take on Final Fantasy. Currently Eidos Montreal is working Thief and a new Deus Ex.
There are few details at the moment that Kotaku could gleam from their sources. Thief is due out in February 2014 for Deus Ex going next-gen sometime.
The most recent release from Eidos Montreal is last week’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut.
