Capcom has confirmed at its pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is currently in development. The horror-themed action game was confirmed specifically for the PS4, but other platforms haven’t been ruled out.
Set for release in early 2015, we’ll be hopping back in the shoes of original series protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield.
No other information regarding plot or setting has been revealed so far, but Capcom producer Masachika Kawata did unveil a brief teaser with the tagline ”Evil is watching”, and promised more information next week. There will also be a playable demo present at the TGS.
French site Game in a Box managed to dig up the game’s box art a few weeks back, and rumours have been circulating that Capcom had another Resident Evil game in the works for quite some time. We’ll have more on Resident Evil: Revelations 2 soon.
