The lastest incarnation in the series, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, stars Claire Redfield and Moira Burton. Claire Redfield's a series regular you might be familiar with already, but Moira is a new character related to an old one - namely burly Barry Burton, he of "master of unlocking" fame.
Capcom announces Resident Evil: Revelations 2 for early 2015
Capcom has confirmed at its pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is currently in development. The horror-themed action game was confirmed specifically for the PS4, but other platforms haven't been ruled out. Set for release in early 2015, we'll be hopping back in the shoes of original series protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield.
Capcom offer fans chance to be featured in upcoming game
Want people to see your mug in a Capcom title? The studio is offering fans the chance to do just that by reciting your favourite Resident Evil moments. Capcom are accepting entries until April 14th. They are taking nostalgia submissions through the Resident Evil Facebook page, tweets with tag #REmemory, or by linking them YouTube videos. It's unclear if it would be a Resident Evil title.
GRID 2 leads UK chart, Insomniac's Fuse barely registers 37th
Codemasters' GRID 2 has drifted onto the UK all format chart and pinched 1st place, which bests the original that five years ago debuted 2nd. However launch sales are 29% less than its predecessor. FIFA 13 hogged 2nd, followed by Dead Island: Riptide, Far Cry 3 and Resident Evil: Revelations. The only other new entry was Fuse, which nearly fizzled out as it just managed to register at 37.
