Three man team Dreams Made Reality has announced action RPG MMO Project Infinity, a free-to-play fantasy title with “anime inspired characters”.
Infinity is in the very earliest stages of development right now, but the team is refreshingly honest; “This game isn’t intended to be excessively innovative,” they write, “but the plan is to deliver unmatched user support & experience and just listen to the players and build a game they can enjoy for years to come.”
You’ll get an action combat system that mixes Tera-style soft-targeting combat and “free action” hack and slash, and 16 playable classes that can be switched between at will. All that other MMO stuff we expect - PVP, crafting, guilds and so on - is all present, and while there will be microtransactions they’re apparently reserved for cosmetic unlocks.
