Warhorse Studios has released their second video update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which has 17 days left on Kickstarter and has amassed over £:607k from more than 19k backers.
This video looks at character customisation and what tools they’ve built atop CryEngine 3 to let them create ”hundreds of different NPCs by few simple clicks.” It’s for our characters too.
When you’re stomping around medieval times you don’t want every peasant, guard and tavern wench looking like cousins- you want variety - and so do Warhorse.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a non-fantasy RPG and is in development for PC, Mac, Linux and next-gen consoles for late 2015. Check out the Kickstarter campaign for more information. Their latest achieved stretch goal was a playable female character, and then next at £700k is performance motion capture.
Warhorse plan to release the same tools they use to modders eventually.
