The studio’s first full game was Deus Ex: Human Revolution which, I’m sure you remember, did rather well it booting the Deus Ex franchise back to life.
“It’s a wrap, Thief is gold. It’s nearly time for the fans to fall in love with Thief all over again, and time for newcomers to finally see what all the fuss is about,” said producer Stephane Roy. “Thief is one of the founding-fathers of the stealth genre; we’re proud to have worked on such a well-loved series and proud to say; Garrett, the Master Thief is back.”
Thief releases on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 February 25th. Check out the new Thief 101 trailer below for a lengthy tease on gameplay and how we can plan our heists. It’s rather reminiscent of Ubisoft’s trailers for Splinter Cell: Blacklist where they promised no end of stealth infiltration over action.
