Guild Wars 2’s Living Story continues to roll on, with the latest update Echoes of the Past released yesterday. That pesky elder dragon Mordremoth is up to no good.
If you’re following the story, this latest episode sees the world’s leaders reacting to the attack on the Pale Tree by preparing for all out war.
There’s a warzone in the in the Silverwastes, a new area in the Maguuma Wastes nearer to Mordremoth’s domain. “Mysterious ruins in the area will provide key battleground locations” against the dragon’s armies, according to ArenaNet. While battling your way across the new area, you’ll loot new Bandit Crests, which can be traded into Pact Vendors for Sinister gear recipes and more.
There’s also shiny new bio-luminescent armour, which does exactly what it says on the tin. For more information on each new feature, check out the update’s website page and the trailer above. Echoes of the Past is out now.
