Space combat from N-Fusion is in the works as they unveiled Space Noir back in early March, and today the studio has released a gameplay walkthrough from devs Joe Parisi and Carissa Isolano.
They reveal the space game’s combat encounters as well as their design concepts for Space Noir. We play bounty hunter Hal Markham, hunting down renegades with our ship’s AI - Rhonda.
We have 5 worlds to visit across 35 missions as we uncover a ”far-reaching conspiracy and a mysterious person who could control the future of humanity,” tease N-Fusion.
The studio believes their space combat game has the sci-fi chops to remind pilots of the classic Wing Commander and X Wing days of desktop yore. Space Noir sports ”intense ship-to-ship combat, boss battles and high-octane planetary combat missions”, and will challenge our reaction times and piloting skills.
Our ship is customisable with weapons, defences, special manoeuvres and cosmetics. N-Fusion keep boasting a ”deep storyline of intergalactic intrigue” ties it all together in Space Noir, which is powered by the Unity engine. They’ve got a lot of Star Fox and Rogue Squadron fans in the office.
Space Noir releases on PC and tablets this summer.
