Ubisoft is packaging up its colonial era Assassin’s Creed games into one handy package - Assassin’s Creed: Birth of a New World - The American Saga Collection.
The collection will bundle up Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD. it’s coming to PC and last-gen consoles this October.
The Saga Collection was revealed in a very brief press release sent out yesterday that didn’t confirm whether or not each of the included games would come with its respective DLC content.
Either way it’s a triple slice of generally enjoyable 18th century murdering. Okay, so Liberation and AC3 aren’t the greatest stories ever told, but they have their moments. Black Flag’s by far the best reason to pick this up, though, a fun pirate romp with a protagonist that cares as much about the Templar/Assassin conflict as I do (not a lot). It’s still got boring modern bits in, but you can’t have everything.
Look for The American Saga Collection this on PC and last-gen consoles this October 3. Pricing is as yet unconfirmed.
