Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is coming to the 2014 Tokyo Game Show (and PC!) and a brief teaser video has popped up to give us some idea of what to expect.
It’s very short, but it gives us a very brief glimpse of Quiet, the sniper lady with the distinct lack of clothes that we’ve seen in promotional trailers before.
Her costume (or lack thereof) still looks silly and gratuitous, but at least we know now why she doesn’t bother wearing all that much - Quiet has some kind of Nightcrawler-esque teleport power, which seems to be connected to the strange, shifting patterns on her skin. Don’t know what the hell’s going on there, but this is a Kojima game so I’m expecting nuttiness.
TGS 2014 kicks off September 18 next week. Expect a lot more Metal Gear 5 there.
