The Pillars of Eternity pre-order editions have been detailed; those who pre-order from a digital distributor will receive a 10% discount, a couple of in-game bonus items and a truckload of extras.
Publisher Paradox and developer Obsidian are also going to be streaming some new content from the fantasy RPG on the Paradox Twitch stream this Thursday, November 13.
Oh, and check out that shiny new trailer above. Very nice. For several reasons, not least of which is the absolutely jam-packed release schedule for Winter 2014, it’s probably a good thing that Obsidian chose to delay Pillars of Eternity to next year. The developers have been speaking about how useful the extra time has been for polish and bug-fixing.
There’s going to be two special editions of the game; the Hero Edition, which includes a full version of the game, and the Champion Edition, which also includes the following bonus trinkets:

A digital copy of the Pillars of Eternity Original Soundtrack (OST)
A digital campaign almanac containing backstory, lore, and information about Eora
Access to a documentary on the making of Pillars of Eternity
A high-resolution digital game map
High-resolution Pillars of Eternity wallpapers
Pillars of Eternity ringtones for mobile devices

You can grab these editions from all the usual digital distributors. Don’t worry all you Kickstarter backers - you’ll get the in-game bonus items for free when the game launches in 2015.
