It’s a blast from the strategic past as Commandos developer Pyro Studios has their 2003 and 2005 strategy games Praetorians and Imperial Glory re-released on Steam by way of publisher Merge Games.
Both the 3D strategy games are just £3.99 with 30% off right now. Praetorians is all about the emerging Roman Empire, while Imperial Glory looks to European Enlightenment.
That would be the ‘enlightenment’ to blast your European neighbour in the face with musket shot and canon fire. Imperial Glory had both land and sea battles with over 50 provinces in Europe and North Africa in a turn-based management campaign map, with real-time battles. Praetorians is a pure RTS.
