Codemasters has released a new DLC pack for GRID Autosport that focuses entirely on drag racing.
Coming in at £3.99, the Drag Pack adds three drag cars, a new Single Player Drag Championship and three drag strips.
To the unfamiliar, drag racing basically involves two cars racing from a standing start down a straight track, accelerating to ridiculous speeds. You can tune up your car before each race, aiming for either a higher top speed or faster acceleration. When the race is underway, you’ll need to time your gear changes to perfection and counter-steer to avoid losing control and hurtling straight into the opposite wall. If that happens your opponent wins.
The Drag Pack adds drag racing tracks at the Hockenheimring, the Autosport Raceway and Detroit. Nine singleplayer Championship modes and one multiplayer mode are also included, each with practice, qualifying and knockout stages.
