Report: UK developer Codemasters hit with round of layoffs
UK studio Codemasters, best known for the Grid and Dirt racing franchises, is set for a round of layoffs focused on the company's marketing and IT departments, according to reports. Eurogamer claims sources close to UK studio Codemasters informed them that around 50 jobs are being reviewed, with around 30 of those to be affected.
GRID Autosport adds drag racing mode with Drag Pack DLC
Codemasters has released a new DLC pack for GRID Autosport that focuses entirely on drag racing. Coming in at £3.99, the Drag Pack adds three drag cars, a new Single Player Drag Championship and three drag strips.

Codemasters has added "experimental" Oculus VR support to its racing title GRID: Autosport, but you'll have to do most of the work setting it up yourself. GRiD Autosport's Touring Car Legends expansion now available
Codemasters has launched the Touring Car Legends expansion pack for GRiD Autosport, which becomes available through Steam for PC. It's also out on Xbox 360 and PS3. Two new circuits are added - Silverstone Circuit and Donington Park - featuring multiple routes, and five classic Touring Cars. There are also new single player championships to beat.
Best of British DLC out now for GRID Autosport
Codemasters has released a new DLC pack for GRID Autosport that allows players to take three British-made supercars for a spin. The Best of British pack lets players get their hands on the McLaren F1 GTR, the Aston Martin Zagato V12 and the McLaren Mercedes SLR 722.
