Good news for fans of the work of Dark Souls Producer Hidetaka Miyazaki, as he’s been promoted to President of From Software by new company owners Kadokawa Games.
Former president Naotoshi Jin will apparently take on an advisory role at the company.
The news comes courtesy of Dengeki Online, translated helpfully by users on NeoGAF. Miyazaki was the main creative force behind the original Dark Souls, but stepped back for the sequel - hardcore fans would tell you that was a bad thing.
