Cloud Chamber is a collaborative mystery game in which thousands of players work together to analyse and discuss various clues, slowly getting to the bottom of a tale of ”murder, music and astrophysics”.
Danish developers Investigate North have just released a new video explaining the intriguing concept in greater detail.
”How do you actually play Cloud Chamber? When we announced our global launch on Steam we got a lot of questions about that subject,” says the game’s director, Christian Fonnesbech. ”With Cloud Chamber, we’ve really tried to create an entirely new method of collaborative storytelling. Story-based games are usually singleplayer affairs so we want to show in this trailer how the act of discussing information works as our main mechanic, as well as being the centre of the emotional story experience.”
Cloud Chamber is planned for release on PC and Mac this summer. You can find out more on the official website.
