I know, I know. There’s more than a few MOBAs out there vying for your attention already, and anyway, it can seem like playing anything but endless League of Legends[/b[ or DotA2 matches is a waste of time.
If you don’t have the hours to put in to getting shouted at by irate junglers, however, newly released relative TOME: Immortal Arena may be more up your street.
Billed as a fast-paced, more action orientated take on the genre, TOME seems to be aimed at those who find the looting, shopping and stupid “last hit” rules mechanics of other MOBAs a bit tedious. Matches are short and sweet, taking around ten to fifteen minutes, and developer KIXEYE is pursuing the philosophy of ‘Constant Action’; you can heal in-lane, set up auto-buys for your equipment slots, and buy items anywhere on the map.
TOME: Immortal Arena is available on Steam now. Oh, and it also has [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Campbell]Bruce Campbell[/ur] doing voice-overs and narration. Well played.
