The next-gen remastering of Sleeping Dogs is on the way but we hadn’t really seen any of these lofty improvements. Now Square Enix has released a 101 trailer for the Definitive Edition out this October.
Among the improvements are native 1080p, high resolution textures, increased density for traffic and pedestrians, new lighting, ambient fog and tweaked gameplay - and all 24 DLCs.
There’s no word yet on whether Sleeping Dogs is to get a direct sequel, although developer United Front Games has unveiled the PC MMO Triad Wars, set in the same universe.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 October 10th in Europe, 14th in the US.
