Chris Roberts issues another Letter from the Chairman as Star Citizen breezes past the $43 million milestone, and keeps on space truckin’ to the next. Every backer to-date will now get marine combat armor.
The $44 million reward has been voted on and will be a ‘mystery object’, reveals Chris Roberts. RSI has also teased the WIP concepts of the Gladius light fighter for Squadron 42.
The Gladius was unlocked at $42 million and adds a new light fighter to the single player campaign, which isn’t as armoured or armed as the Hornet - it’s an older fighter.
As of now the Omni Role Combat Armor (ORC) mk9 is attached to everyone’s accounts for reaching $43 million. It’ll help out during those ground-based skirmishes in Star Citizen which itself was the result of a much earlier stretch goal. The next milestone reward is the Hadesian Artifact which is an archaeological puzzle to be solved.
”I don’t want to sound repetitive after so many levels, but thank you again for your support. Every additional dollar goes to Star Citizen’s development and makes it a better game,” said Chris Roberts.
