It’s coming up to Halloween, so as expected we’re being inundated with a bunch of horror-themed seasonal events - for fantasy 4X game Endless Legend, that means a mini add-on called Shades of Alteration.
In addition to a Halloween-inspired quest called ‘A Tale from the Dark Season’, which offers spooky rewards to players who complete it, the add-on also comes with some free modding tools.
“Our fans are the best, and we want to reward them with a modding tool that gives them the freedom to customize the game to their liking,” said developer Amplitude’s Romain de Waubert. “This is our special Halloween gift to the community – Trick and Treat!”
The mod tools will allow users to add new faction traits, technology, city improvements, items, skills, as well as create new quests and 2D assets. There are several other fixes included with the update, so check the patch notes for the full breakdown.
