Just in time for Summer, Maxis’ omnipotent God-simulator The Sims 4 is getting a new Spa Day Game Pack pack, which will give your sims a chance to relax, wind down, and enjoy paying hundreds of pounds to lock themselves in an overheated steam oven (or sauna, as it’s otherwise known) for a few hours.
The pack will include three new Maxis-created spas, as well as a new gymnasium. Hey, if you’re going to avoid exercise and personal health at least your virtual minions should keep in shape. Enjoying the amenities will earn you a boost to happiness and your Wellness stat – raise the latter and you’ll turn your sim into one of those irritatingly happy, New Age types, able to give massages to their fellow sims and learn new Yoga positions.
You can also create your own spas, filling them with bits of fitness equipment and so on. Maybe throw a McDonald’s in there too.
The Sims 4 Spa Day Game Pack is set for release on July 14. There’s no pricing just yet, but expect it to hover around the $20 mark.
