Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will get a batch of new content over the next few months, according to Gematsu, kicking off in August with the game’s 1.04 update, which will add a new stage, the Lovely Summer Costume 2015 costume pack (which will be very tasteful, I’m sure), and several balance adjustments.
September will bring another costume pack based on Falcom games such as The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki and Trails in the Sky, and in October Everyone’s Halloween Costume DLC will land. In November there will be yet another costume DLC based on Square Enix’s Schoolgirl Strikers smartphone game.
In Spring 2016 there will be another “major” update, adding another new stage and a new character, plus some costume DLC based on Tatsunoko Production characters.
So yes, lots of new stuff, though the pricing structure for all this remains unclear. Hopefully, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo will also find time to restore the game’s multiplayer, which is still lacking on the PC version.
