Telltale Games has been teasing the release of The Walking Dead: Michonne for some time now. With Season 1 of Telltale’s episodic adventure adaptation of Game of Thrones wrapped up, the studio is turning its attention fully towards the miniseries, and today it was announced that we can expect a reveal tonight on The Game Awards 2015.
Head of Creative Communications Job J Stauffer teased the reveal of the Michonne miniseries at the beginning of last month, claiming that the game was playable and coming sooner than we thought. After half a month of silence on further news of the matter, he finally tweeted today that the game would be showing at the Game Awards.
Confirmed: You *will* get your 1st look at TWD:Michonne @thegameawards. It won't premiere this month, but will now be a stand-alone series.

As stated in the tweet, it would appear we’re not going to be playing the first episode of the series before Christmas, but we will get to see a little bit of what we can expect in the game tonight. That is to say, if Michonne is up to her normal antics, we can expect some visceral zombie slaying and cold, calculating decisions.
The Game Awards 2015 will be going live at 8:30 PM US Eastern Standard Time. We’ll be streaming it right here at GameWatcher! Be sure to check it out tonight to see the reveal of The Walking Dead: Michonne, gameplay reveal of Far Cry: Primal, and many other games in addition to the awards. In the mean time, you can check out the 2014 Game Awards if you’re so inclined.
