It was teased earlier in the week, and now EA has released the trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront’s Fighter Squadron mode, which cuts out the ground combat and focuses entirely on aerial dogfights.
So yes, you’ll get all the fast-paced spaceship action you could want (expect not in space, of course), with the added bonus of Hero characters for each faction - the Millennium Falcon is flyable, as is Boba Fett’s Slave 1.
”Featuring iconic Rebel X-Wings and A-Wings, as well as the dreaded Imperial Tie Fighters and Tie Interceptors, Fighter Squadron lets you engage in aerial battles with up to 20 players, and AI-controlled ships joining the fight,” writes EA.
Star Wars: Battlefront will be released for PC and consoles this November 17.
