Slitherine has announced that the Ork Hunters expansion for its Games Workshop-licensed tactical strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon is now available. The expansion is set set shortly after the end of the Second War of Armageddon.
In the expansion, players seek to exterminate the last remnants of the Ork population from the Equatorial Jungle where they have grown into a feral state. ”Hardened by the fires of thousands of battles, these veterans will purge the equatorial jungles of this infestation, giving their lives for the greater glory of the God Emperor of Mankind: these are the Ork Hunters!” proclaims the official site.
Players will enjoy four new Ork units including the Feral Wildboyz, Huntas, Boarboyz, and Junkas, along with six new Ork hunter infantry types including Ork Hunter Company Command, Infantry, Flamers, Anti-Tank Support, Fire Support and Snipers. Of course, it also includes a new 10 mission campaign revolving around the final Ork extermination.
The DLC costs a mere $4.99 and can be downloaded directly from Slitherine.
