As promised a new alternate playthrough for the E3 2015 footage of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been released, and thankfully there’s an English version. In fact we’re shown multiple ways to achieve our goals.
First we’re quiet with Quiet, choosing non-lethal weaponry to sneak in as an alternate method. They use a different buddy to showcase how they affect our options in the field.
The gameplay demo features the same mission but approached with different equipment and methods. Aptly the new video is called ‘Freedom of Infiltration’. In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain we’re given an open-world to play in and we’re free to just roam if we choose.
Know of any other game that let’s your buddy shoot a sleep grenade out of the air and land in a group of soldiers? Only a Hideo Kojima game can do that and make us believe it. What about a detachable rocket fist for remote assassination? Yeah. Yeah.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases on PC September 15th.
