Visceral Games has announced the Battlefield Hardline beta has surpassed 6 million players, and the studio ”appreciate the response and feedback” from the testers. They’re now working on changes.
The beta ends tonight, giving the developer a little over a month to tweak Battlefield Hardline before it launches. It looks like crime might just pay after all for this cops and robbers spin-off.
”There’s been a ton of action through the weekend on the Battlefield Hardline beta and we’re thrilled that now more than six million of you have gotten your hands on the game. We appreciate the response and feedback we have gotten from you in the forums, on social media and while playing with you online,” posted studio general manager Steve Papoutsis.
”…we’ve already been prioritizing changes for things fans are talking about. So you’ve still got a chance to be heard. The beta will end Monday night, February 9th Pacific Time. So get in there if you haven’t had a chance yet.”
”We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the community one more time. We love the two way dialogue we’ve established. And now that you’ve driven millions of miles in Hotwire, you’ve stolen billions of dollars in Heist, and you’ve continued to show mad love for Conquest, we can’t wait until you get a chance to play the whole package.”
Battlefield Hardline releases on PC and console March 17th in the US, 19th in Europe. Don’t forget that Visceral Games is also working an unannounced Star Wars game. Bothan spies are yet to report back.
