Garry Newman and the team at Facepunch Studios is apparently working on a new Garry’s Mod game, according to an interview the developer did with PCGamesn.
The original sandbox physics playground is still available for around the same price it has been since it launched back in 2004, and when asked if he had considered changing that, Newman surprisingly revealed the new project.
”We wouldn’t raise the price now, I mean we’re kind of working on a sequel, so it’d be stupid to the raise the price, really,” he said. ”It’s early days. We’re looking at having more VR stuff in it—that’s the big point of it. And it won’t be called Garry’s Mod 2.”
Newman didn’t really anything regarding a potential release schedule, bu that focus on VR means we probably won’t see the new game until the hardware is more established.
