Evolve already had an eccentric cast of characters to choose from, but a brand new freak show is coming to the medic stable. The new medic is a robot named Emet and he’ll be your best friend and everyone else’s vocal worst enemy at the drop of a hand.
Just like his medical compatriots, Emet brings a unique range of abilities to the hunt and efforts to keep the rest of the team alive. He can throw an area of effect device that seems to deploy a healing field around it in an outward explosion, as well as a device that allows the entire team to warp to its location. For offensive abilities, Emet has what appears to be a literal handgun. That is to say he points his index and middle finger in a gun-like expression, except it is a very real gun. He also packs shoulder-mounted rocket pods for sending more explosive damage at creatures. See a video of him in action below. (WARNING: Explicit language from the less savory side of Emet.)
Emet is the third of the tier 5 hunters to be released for Evolve after the release of the fifth monster, the Gorgon. There’s been a new assault with Lennox and a new trapper with Jax. With Emet, the medic role is filled and a final support hunter is inevitably on the way to fill out the set.
Emet is slated to release on December 16, 2015.
