Treyarch’s recent Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 open Beta was received fairly well in terms of gameplay, but on the PC version there were numerous performance issues and some oddly laggy and unresponsive mouse movement.
The developer has penned a blog post assuring PC players that these issues have been highlighted by the community, and that the development team is currently working on fixing them.
”Some players felt that the game didn’t perform well on their computer,” writes Treyach’s John Rafacz. ”The good news is that the PC Beta didn’t include final performance optimizations. This work is being completed as we speak. We’re improving performance and working with hardware partners to prepare optimized drivers for launch.”
Along with the aforementioned dodgy mouse feedback, other PC-specific issues being resolved include network connection problems and general crashes. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is out this November 6.
