Trendy Entertainment’s hybrid action tower defence game Dungeon Defenders 2 has hit its open Alpha stage, meaning that anyone can now jump in and play it via Steam Early Access.
Alpha stage follows on from the release of last week’s ’Ascension’ patch, which rebalanced the power of both towers and enemies, and added a level-up system to the game’s roster of characters.
That was only part one, however. The second half drops on October 27, adding two new holiday-themed maps and a fresh Incursion event, as well as new minibosses, hero builds, and spooky costumes - it is around Halloween after all.
Dungeon Defenders 2 has been in Early Access for just under a year, and generally the response from the community has been pretty positive so far. Might be worth checking out at the low, low price of free.
