Japanese developer XSEED has announced that their charming 2009 Wii life simulation/city building game Little King’s Story will be coming to PC in 2006.
According to Destructoid, XSEED Executive Vice President Ken Berry told the site that Little King’s Stoy was part of an “initiative” by the Japanese studio, and not Marvelous USA; Marvelous USA was the name that XSEED’s US branch changed to recently.
The game, created by No More Heroes’ Yoshiro Kimura, was originally launched on the Wii, and earned a cult following thanks to its quirky life simulation and real-time strategy melding, as players take on the role of a poor boy who finds himself thrust into the role of King. It was later ported to the PS Vita, but bombed on the handheld.
XSEED provided some target screenshots for what the PC version ought to look like, as seen above.
