Patch 2.3.0 for Diablo 3 is currently playable on the Public Test Realm, and it brings a whole bunch of new armour sets for hardcore looters to hunt down.
Some of them are pretty crazy. Diablo’s Crusader class is pretty intimidating at the best of times, but they look a whole lot worse with a skull helm on and racks of candles across their spauldrons. Very 40K.
“We’ve added three new sets and updated two old ones,” explains Blizzard. “In Patch 2.3.0, you’ll be able to adorn your Crusader in the Seeker of the Light set, and unleash limitless Blessed Hammers upon your enemies after descending upon them with Falling Sword. The gods strike through your Monk’s Seven Sided Strike with Uliana’s Stratagem while turning your enemies into living weapons with Exploding Palm. The Spirit of Arachyr will let your Witch Doctor unleash the frightening potential of Hex and Corpse Spiders as they ensnare and poison those who stand before you.”
There are also lots of new one-off Legendary items, including a whole new batch of Seasonal Legendaries set to drop in Season 4. No word on when Patch 2.3.0 will be released in full, but head over here to find out how to join the PTR.
