Remember The Elder Scrolls: Legends? It’s a virtual card game from Bethesda based around their iconic Elder Scrolls series. Originally it was slated to come out this year, but those plans have gone by the wayside it seems. The game is being pushed back to 2016.
Originally announced at E3 this year, it was slated to come out on iPad first and then eventually PC. So far it has done neither and a recent response from Bethesda Vice-President of PR Pete Hines via Twitter pretty much blatantly stated that we shouldn’t expect a surprise release before the end of this year.

— Pete Hines (@DCDeacon) December 16, 2015The Elder Scrolls: Legends is thought to be Bethesda’s answer to the runaway success of Blizzard’s Hearthstone. We know that it’s going to be free-to-play and that it’s going to feature the staples and races of its influencing franchise, much like its Blizzard counterpart. Unfortunately, there’s not much to go off of aside from that as the only trailer, the one shown at E3, didn’t show any gameplay. Nonetheless, you can see that trailer below.
So it would appear that we’ll be waiting on 2016 for any sign of Legends. Which is fine, considering we probably don’t need too many more games crammed into the last 15 days of 2015.
