A digital adaptation of popular board game Heroes of Normandie is on the way to the PC this September, courtesy of developer Cat Rabbit and strategy publisher Slitherine.
You control squads of soldiers from three armies during the D-Day landings, using various unique abilities, equipment and weapons to take down the enemy. The game comes with a level editor, a ”rogue-like” campaign and a Quick Battle mode if you just want to jump into the fight.
”In the spirit of the original board game, the game is bombastic and humorous yet full of subtle tactical decisions and features a vast array of unique units, equipment and abilities,” says Slitherine.
