Gambitious has announced that “Weird West” turn-based tactical strategy-RPG game Hard West will be available on PC on 4 November 2015. The regular edition of the game will cost $19.99, while a Collector’s Edition will cost $24.99 The latter will include the original soundtrack, a digital art book, and digital comic.
In this supernatural game with an Old West setting, players will engage in 40 missions where the protagonist, Warren, will face off against enemy henchmen, cultists, and cannibals. Warren is on a ”quest for vengeance” and suffering a ”descent into the darkest recesses of the human soul.” The game promises ”a world full of hard choices and even harder consequences. In this world, death is a constant presence and the black pacts you make will forever haunt all those around you.”
Hard West is being developed by CreativeForge, including Company of Heroes 2 writer Haris Orkin, and features a score by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s composer Marcin Przybyłowicz.
