There was a bit of controversy a few weeks ago when Steam accidentally listed free jerseys for Blood Bowl 2 as premium DLC. Part of it revolved around the fact that the DLC packs featuring the Lizardman and Wood Elves teams were indeed a premium DLC for $6.99 each.
Four new teams are coming to Blood Bowl 2, and Cyanide is giving them to Blood Bowl 2 owners for free.
In a Steam post, the developer stated, ”We have started in October the production of 4 additional races (Norse, Undead, Nurgle and Necromantic). As we want to thank you all for your support since the very beginning helping us make Blood Bowl 2 a great success, we decided that if you own Blood Bowl 2 on PC, you’ll get these races for free!”
The studio went on to promise that ”As long as you own Blood Bowl 2 before the launch of a race DLC, you’ll get that DLC and subsequent DLC for free, from the list of four planned DLCs.” The Norse team will be available in February, after which the remaining three will be released on a regular basis.
Blood Bowl 2 was released on 22 September 2015, and earned a 6.5/10 score in its review.
