Microsoft has started shipping PC adapters for their Xbox One controllers, arguably the best gamepad controller on the market at the moment (at least until the boutique priced “Professional” Xbox One controllers are released), but it comes with a requirement - it’ll only be compatible with Windows 10.
It makes sense from the perspective that Microsoft is pushing Windows 10 as hard as it did Windows Vista, when the company infamously claimed the PC adaptation of Halo 2 would only work with Vista (which hackers proved was untrue.)
The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows will be available for $24.99 or bundled with an Xbox One Wireless Controller for $79.95.
