Sega has announced that Creative Assembly’s Games Workshop-licensed tactical real-time-strategy game, Total War: Warhammer, will be hitting store shelves on the 28 April, 2016. The publisher also revealed two special editions of the game, the Limited Edition and the High King Edition, as well as a preorder bonus.
Gamers who preorder Total War: Warhammer will get the first downloadable content pack for free, the Chaos Warriors Race Pack: The DLC includes three playable Legendary Lords, as well as unique new mounts, units, monsters and magic items.
The Limited Edition will be available in stores, which comes in an embossed metal case and an Insider Guide, which is a printed strategy guide including tactical advice on battlefield combat. The limited run High King Edition will also include the Insider Guide and the metal embossed disc case, but will also come in a large metallic gold and 3D sculpted box. The box additionally contains a Slayer’s Whetstone Pendant made of real whetstone, a Grudge Ring with a rotating inner band, a carved metallic Dwarfen Drinking Horn & Stand from which to quaff spirits (or non-alcoholic beverages), a canvas map of the game world, and an artbook.
