Paragon has been intriguing ever since it made its appearance online as a series of teasers. Now Epic is moving their game front stage into the spotlight and its looking quite gorgeous. Today, Epic released a new video exhibiting alpha game play as well as the core mechanics of how Paragon will work.
The video from the official Paragon Youtube channel plays as a tutorial to introduce players that will be partaking in Alpha Testing to the game. Anyone familiar with most any MOBA will recognize most everything in the video, but it’s a good way to introduce players who may not be familiar to the formula. You have your towers, jungles, items, and abilities as per usual.
What stands out most in the video is the graphics. They look pretty beautiful as is, but the presenters made a point to say that these are “a bit rough”, alongside gameplay and systems. It makes one wonder how the standard specs of the final release will be if those on display in the video are rough.
Paragon is slated for sometime in 2016. There are no confirmed dates as of yet, but the Beta will probably be popping up sometime in the next couple months.
