This is why GTA V is on PC is the best. With the addition of a simple little mod, you can play as a chimp. Or a cat. Or basically any animal included in the game. It’s called ScriptHook, and its [URL=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/]Doctor_Dolittle]Doctor Doolittle[/URL[ options are just the tip of the iceberg.
Basically the trainer gives you full control over almost every aspect of the game, from physics to weather effects, to skins and cheats that make every bullet you fire explosive.
It’s only playable in GTA V’s story mode, so hopefully Rockstar will turn a blind eye – they’ve been a bit
uncooperative about modding in general, which has annoyed the community. This is hopefully a good kick-off point for some even crazier content. GTA IV had some brilliant custom work done by modders, and it’d be nice to see them let loose in Los Santos.
As creator Alexander Blade explains (going neatly over my head as he does so), ScriptHook “is the library that allows to use GTA V script native functions in custom *.asi plugins”. That basically means modders can now create new scripts without overwriting core files .
We’ll bring you more on the GTA V modding scene once it really gets going. I have no doubt there will be some top stuff created. The download link for ScriptHook is here.
