Harebrained Schemes has just revealed the launch date for the just-take-my-money Shadowrun: Hong Kong that successfully robbed us blind of over $1.2 million through its Kickstarter campaign back in February this year.
Well chummer, our runners will be on a flight to Hong Kong this August 20th through Steam, GOG.com and Humble. The studio is making a number of changes to the game, like the Matrix.
Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director’s Cut is credited as being the best of the cyberpunk RPG from Harebrained, with Shadowrun Returns making a valiant effort but not quite ticking all the boxes like Dragonfall did. Now they hope to surpass expectations again.
Another update from the studio will be coming in a couple of weeks, ”regarding how to get your keys from BackerKit and an update on all the remaining Kickstarter rewards.” Tomorrow, July 25th, marks the second anniversary for Shadowrun Returns.
Shadowrun: Hong Kong releases on PC August 20th. It’s available on Steam with 33% off.
