The latest installment in their Formula One racing franchise, F1 2015, will arrive this June on PC, Codemasters have confirmed.
Developed using a brand new engine, F1 2015 boasts revamped handling and physics from the engine and transmission to the suspension, tires and everything in between.
To further sweeten the pot for racing fans, F1 2015 will also include in-depth, all-new Championship and Pro Season modes, in addition to the rarely seen Mexican GP which returns after a 20 year absence.
“F1 2015 marks an exciting new chapter for Codemasters and Formula One; it’s a shift in direction for the game series, on new formats and our brand new game engine, with the game set to be released earlier in the season, launching this June,” game director Paul Jeal stated.
“The handling is a vast improvement from our previous games. In particular our new tire model is a superb step forward towards realism, you can now experience the changes in grip caused by temperature changes, wear, car set-up, debris and weather conditions,” Jeal went onto say.
F1 2015 is currently pegged for a release on June 12th.
