Atari’s reboot RollerCoaster Tycoon World has changed development house again for a third time, so for now it’s being handled by Nvizzio Creations based out of Montreal, Canada. Will it stay there?
Originally it was Pipeworks Software creating the new RollerCoaster Tycoon, but that switched to Area 52 Games back in December.
It would seem that Nvizzio has actually been attached since May, and Atari appears to have given them the reigns. RollerCoaster Tycoon World will be attending Gamescom next month where gameplay will be shown off to press. They’re also working on the Steam store page.
PAX Prime will be another event to keep an eye out for later in August. In one of the latest production blogs for the game it’s revealed Steam Workshop support will be at launch with user created content a big feature.
RollerCoaster Tycoon World is in development for PC with no release date yet.
