Addictive, side-scrolling skatefest OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is coming to Steam next month, developer Roll7 has confirmed, following its successful run on consoles earlier this year.
If you’re new to the series, it’s basically a 2D, skateboarding version of Trials, with the same blend of fast, skill-based tricks and humorously violent crashes where you mess up and land your skater testicles first on a railing.
As well as enhanced controls, including all the manuals, reverts, grind-switching and revert manuals (I don’t know what any of those are) you could want, the sequel brings new tricks, new levels, a split-screen ‘Combo Master’ mode with ”four unique game modes.”
Also, there’s a brand new soundtrack - which was one of the great things about the original game - from artists including Cid Rim, Lone, Faulty DL, Submerse and Mike Slott.
