Hi-Rez has announced on the Tribles Universe website that the studio is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Tribes franchise by offering every game in the series completely free.
The games that can be downloaded from the site for free include:
- Earthsiege
- Earthsiege 2
- Starsiege: Tribes
- Tribes 2
- Tribes: Aerial Assault
- Tribes Vengeance
- Tribes Ascend
Hi-Rez had halted support on Tribes Ascend in July 2013 to work on Smite, but released a patch for the game this past September, and expressed regret about abandoning it.
