Back in August, Hi-Rez Studios announced its upcoming team-based shooter, Paladins. While it coming into a market already hyped up on Battleborn and Overwatch, Paladins is chugging right along and today Hi-Rez Studios President Stewart Chisam announced on his Twitter that the closed beta would begin on November 17th.

Paladins may look very close to other competitive character-based shooters in a lot of ways, but the studio behind it has the acclaimed MOBA, SMITE, and first-person shooter, Tribes: Ascend, under their belt. They’re no strangers to this realm and the trailers are showing a lot of promise. It will be interesting to see if Paladins can stand out among the notably high-quality crop they’ll be in competition with.
You can sign up to get in on the beta at the Paladins website.
