THQ Nordic are feeling pretty happy about the name switch from Nordic Games, so happy that they’ve decided to release the Titan Quest Anniversary Edition for free to anyone that owns Titan Quest, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne or Titan Quest Gold.
This basically means that over 1 million people currently own Titan Quest Anniversary Edition on Steam, although fortunately for those that don’t own any of the games mentioned above, Nordic Games have thought of you too and are offering a discount of 75% off for one week.
Titan Quest Anniversary Edition celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the series and contains both Titan Quest and Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, which have been completely reworked with over 1261 changes made to the multiplayer, stability, performance, balancing, AI and much more.
“After our name change from ‘Nordic Games’ to ‘THQ Nordic’, we wanted a running start for our new identity and had to think about how to begin the new era with the most positive connotation possible.” said a spokesperson for the publisher.
So after some office banter, THQ Nordic decided the best way to show its gratitude towards its followers was to release the Titan Quest Anniversary Edition for free, or for USD/EUR 4.99 to those that missed out on it all those years ago.
