Paradox Interactive has announced that the chilly Snowfall expansion for GameWatcher’s 2015Game of the Year, Cities: Skylines, will be available in two weeks on the 18th February, 2016. The expansion will run $12.99 on most digital distribution stores.
Snowfall not only brings blizzards and cold weather to the game, but it forces the player to take heating costs into account, as well as making sure the roads are safe. ”Residents will also have the chance to visit new winter parks and landmarks available in Snowfall, along with an all-new tram system to get them across town in all sorts of weather.”
An update will be released at the same time as Snowfall, which will bring cosmetic weather effects such as fog and rain. The developers have started a few threads in the official forum to answer questions from fans, and to translate dev diaries into foreign languages.
