Ubisoft Massive have started to confirm some of the changes that will be coming to The Division’s 1.2 patch this month.
Although the patch is still in the testing phase, a number of changes were discussed on The Division’s ‘State of the Game’ Twitch stream a couple of hours ago. One of the major changes includes a new Dark Zone Bracket where more generous loot will be given. It was also announced on the stream that the balancing of the game will consist of buffs, only.
“There are pretty much no nerfs in this balancing, it’s all just boosting things”.
With regards to the Daily Missions, that have been the subject of a lot of heat over the past few weeks, the State of the Game team reassured viewers that these issues have been fixed. However, it is important to note that the files have only been updated on the server side, not on the client files, meaning that the server will effectively “have the last word” in the scheduling of these missions. Overall, this should avoid the problem of missing daily missions. This announcement may partly be in answer to doubts surrounding their client model that were voiced last week. However, the team also stated that problems on the client side will not be fixed in these updates.
Furthermore, they have confirmed that the 1.2 patch will contain a long list of bug fixes with PvE also getting an update. Measures have also been implemented to identify spammers in order to create a more pleasant experience for serious players.
